Foi graças ao meu amigo Aqualung que descobri uma banda de Nova York, muito indie, muito folk, epá muito boa mesmo! Os Beirut (MySpace), banda por detrás de Zach Condon, que aos 21 anitos é já um grande songwriter e fantástico tocador de vários instrumentos (multi-instrumentalista como costumam chamar), são um colectivo muito recente (um E.P. e um álbum lançados em 2006 apenas) mas já com uma sonoridade bastante amadurecida. Esta é uma das pérolas que se pode ouvir no primeiro registo do grupo, "Lon Gisland E.P".
